Statement of Faith

I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
I believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
I believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His return in power and glory. (John 1:36-42, Isaiah 7:14, Hebrews 4:15, John 1:1 and 14, 1 Corinthians 15:3, John 19:40-42, John 2:19, Mark 16:19, Acts 7:56, 1 Timothy 2:5)
I believe that all people are lost and sinful by nature and that salvation comes only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. I believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ provides the only basis for the forgiveness of sins and the free, unmerited gift of eternal salvation by God’s grace. (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers to live godly and faithful lives. (John 16:12-33)
I believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who are saved to eternal life and those who are lost to eternal separation from God. (John 3:16-21)
I believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the Head, and that its members are those who have personally received Christ by faith. (Ephesians 5:23-27)
I believe that all human life is sacred, created by God in His image, and therefore has inherent value from the moment of conception through natural death, regardless of physical or mental condition. (Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 4:1, Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139)
I believe the Bible is the final authority on all matters, including moral and cultural issues. I believe that marriage is a sacred covenant created by God in a single, exclusive union. (Genesis 2:18-25)
I believe that sexual immorality is sin. I also believe that God offers forgiveness and transformation to all who repent and turn to Him, receiving cleansing, sanctification, and justification through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
